I’m a creative copywriter with about 5 years of experience.

Before that, I was a retail manager. I have over a decade of experience making sales and spending face-to-face time with consumers. If you’re asking me, everyone should work retail or the service industry if they ought to be well-rounded.

It’s funny, I never knew I’d become a writer. There was always a place for me growing up. It was my high school’s art department—I explored everything from fine arts to mixed media and digital art forms. I spent years looking for the creative outlet that could truly amplify my voice. Of course, it took decades to find myself putting pen to paper.

Suddenly it was obvious. I was sitting at work reading through the catalogue and it dawned on me. I wanted to become the person behind those words. So that’s what I did! I packed my bags and headed back to school. I found something that I had been searching for, my voice. And it didn’t end there, I learned to speak in other voices, too.

My worst day as a copywriter is better than my best day at any other job. I’ve already made it.
